Adding new page header:

  1. From Drupal Admin menu go to Structure » Revolution Sliders.
  2. New page with the list of all headers will open.
  3. To create new page header we will duplicate one of the existing headers and use it as a template for further editing.
  4. To duplicate an existing header click on a small arrow icon which will display next to header name when you hover it with your mouse cursor.
  5. Click on the arrow icon and select Duplicate from the list of dropdown options.
  6. New popup window will open with a field to input the name of the new header. Enter the name for the new header and click on Duplicate button to confirm.
  7. The new header will be available on the list of all headers.
  8. Simply click on the new header to edit it.
  9. This will open the edit mode for the new header.

Editing header background image:

  1. To edit the background of the new header, once you open the header in the edit mode click on a thumbnail image of the slide you want to edit it.
  2. From the Main Background  » Source tab click on Media Library button next to Main / Backround Image label.
  3. This will open a new popup window enabling you to choose a file from the existing library of images or upload a new file.
  4. Once you upload the new file, or select one of the existing images click on Insert button located at the bottom right corner to insert the new image into header.
  5. Once you insert the new image click on Save button to save changes.

Editing header text:

  1. To edit the text part of the header, once you open the header in the edit mode click on a Static / Global Layers.
  2. New page will open with a timeline editor.
    • Make sure that Style tab is selected.
    • Each item in the timeline editor is a separate layer.
    • Using the timeline you can also set the exact timing when you want the layer to appear on the page. You are also able to select the exact timing when you want the layer to disappear from the page.
    • You able to set specific responsive behavior of the layers here. This is done by switching to mobile phone, tablet, laptop and desktop view from the editor.
    • You are also able to add animation to your layers. This is done on Animation tab.
  3. Double click on a timeline text layer that you want to edit. New popup with the input text field will open.
  4. Once you finish with the editing click on Save button to save changes.

Adding header to the page:

  1. Once you create the new header you will want to attach it to a page. To do this you will go to Structure » Blocks.
  2. New page will open with a list of all blocks available on the website.
  3. Locate the block with the following name Slider Revolution : name-of-your-new-header and click on configure link next to it. This will enable you to edit the block.
  4. From the Region settings section select Branding from RMCT Theme (default theme) dropdown.
  5. Scroll down the page and from the pages section check Only the listed pages under Show block on specific pages.
  6. In the empty field bellow input the URL alias or node ID of the page on which you want to display the new header. You can check the node ID from your address bar when you open the page on which you want to display the new header in edit mode. On the same page you can also check the URL alias. For example – if the node ID is 50, you will input node/50 in this field.
  7. Once done click on Save block button located at the bottom of the page. This will add the new header image to the page.

Generating complete breadcrumb links for project pages:

  1. When creating/editing of project page check Provide a menu link checkbox under Menu settings on Menu tab.
  2. From Parrent item dropdown select the market to which this project belongs to.
  3. Click on a Save button at the bottom of the page to change settings.
  4. Once you save the changes from Drupal Admin menu go to Structure » Menus » Main menu.
  5. Locate the name of the project and disable it – uncheck the box under Enabled. This is important to do since if you miss this step, the new project would appear in the main navigation menu.
  6. Once done click on Save configuration button at the botton of the page to save changes.
